Find a New York Modeling Agency

Are you a New York Model in search of being represented by a modeling agency? A modeling agency is a firm that represents models and works solely to find them jobs. These agencies earn their income via commission, usually by charging the advertising client a 20% fee (standard rates in a New York City market, as most modeling agents in smaller markets take 10%) and also by taking a 20% commission from the models. They also charge their models for all costs related to marketing including printing, stamps and digital marketing.

For a new model, you want to sign with as many agencies as possible as there is no single agent that has all of the jobs in your market. If you only sign with one agency, you are making a choice to ignore work opportunities. No new model should ever sign an exclusive contract when first starting out.

While most new models feel the only way to become a success is to get signed to an agency, an agency is not in the business of helping talent lay the ground work for you to get started.
