We will ask for their name and telephone number, but we will accept a request even if the consumer wishes to just provide their first name and telephone number. Consumers have the right to have calls stopped and to be put on our Do Not Call list at any time, even if they are still a current customer.
When we receive a request from a customer, the telephone number is added to our Do Not Call list as soon as possible, typically within 5 business days. A Do Not Call request stays on our companies list for 5 years. If the consumer moves, resubmits to our website, changes their telephone or adds additional telephone numbers, it is the responsibility of the consumer to provide us with the new contact information, which includes their telephone number for our records for to prevent contacting that number again.
The Federal Trade Commission currently offers a complimentary service to consumers allowing them to place their residential phone number on a National Do Not Call Registry.
